You follow the flowing crowd into the great hall, shaking your head at the sight of yet another student proclaiming her love to a pair of curtains. A woman in healer's blue takes her by the arm, steering her away toward the infirmary, and you hear the student's exclamations of "its okay, I love you too, person I just met!"
In the great hall, Master Belmos stands next to a man in frayed green robes, who you barely remember from your help perfecting his breeding potion. A velox sits on his shoulder.
"Greetings, everyone," the man says. "My name is Kaidan Featherstone, and I'm a researcher here at the Keep. I'm sure you've noticed some...weirdness...with the latest batch of drinks at Remy's."
Murmurs of agreement echo around the room.
"I didn't mean for this to happen!" he says, waving his hands. "I just wanted to create a drink that would help people relax and feel close to each other during the coldest, darkest months of the year. It's a simple enough potion. But one of the ingredients is the brahmi plant, and there was a shortage this year, so I asked Talyn to send me some if he found any on his travels. Well, apparently wherever he found them, they grow to be a lot more potent than the ones you find around here." Kaidan laughs nervously. "And that's why your fellow magi are acting so...odd."
A few people laugh, but some of the older magi in the back of the room just roll their eyes.
"Students," Master Belmos says, the titters dying down. "The effects of Kaidan's potion are potent, and we need some help with some individuals who cannot shake it off the way others can. Potions are one thing, but there is also magic in incantations. If anyone wishes to help with a spell to counteract the effects of this potion, please do so."
The Rules:
Help counter Kaidan's magic by coming up with an anti-love poem.

As long as a drunk person off the street could call it a poem, it counts. So no, you don't have to rhyme, but don't write out a novel, for instance.
