SolWhitethorn wrote:Phenora, if you've read Ever After, have you read Just Ella &/or Two Proncesses of Bamarre? They're by Gail Carson Levine too (that -is- her name, yes? oO) and also very very good.

Ever After is not the book I read. If I said it, then I'm sorry. I meant Never After by Rebecca Lickiss.

Oh, I won't let this thread die. <3 I can't live without books, and I love nearly all kind of them. However, I voted for Fantasy/Mythical, Horror and Fiction. My favorite books are Harry Potters, Percy Jacksons, The Twilight -saga and The Vampire Diaries -series. Moreover there are so many other books written in my mother tongue, that I don't even bother to mention them, because no one knows them. x) Then there's one pretty old book, The Outsiders. My mom read it when she was young and she gave it to me. And I fell in love with it. I have read it about ten times and it's as fun every time. :D

I'm a sucker for a GOOD murder-mystery novel. >< Sue Grafton, for example. I haven't read ALL of her Kinsey Millhone PI series, mainly because I can never find one of the books that I haven't read available at the local library [but that's what ordering books is for, right?], and because I'm horribly lethargic and way too absorbed in my own dimension surrounding the computer. I've just recently fallen for a couple of Stephen King books and am currently [trying to get around to] reading Dean Koontz's Funhouse. Oh, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Scott Lynch's comical twist on thievery, the Gentleman Bastards series. The Lies of Locke Lamora is the first book, quite imaginative and witty - I immediately fell in love with it and read Red Seas Under Red Skies as soon as I could get my fickle little hands on it. The ending left me disheartened, actually. I cannot wait for the new book to be released if it hasn't already. I hate to admit it, but I haven't quite explored the world of books as thoroughly as I would like to, but I'm always up to recommendations. <3

I've read The Outsiders. Had to for a class a few years ago. It was pretty good. My friends and I all did this thing where we pretty much compared each other to characters in the book. I came up as the tough guy, I think his name was Darry? I do know that if teh name is incorrect, he is the onw who Johnny looks up to.

I don't read many mudre-mysteries and such myself, but I have read one book by Dean Koonts. The Mask. It was interesting. Odd, but interesting.

I have a question, anyone on here heard of NaNoWriMo? A.K.A. National Novel Writing Month? I figure this is teh best thread to ask it on, lol.

I love fantasy books. The Harry Potter books, Lord of the Rings books, Stephen King's Dark Tower series are my absolute favorites. Oh, and the Chronicles of Narnia books too.
